1903 puts on Brave New World

It's official.  We're doing Aldous Huxley's Brave New World next year as our full length play.  It's set in the future where babies are no longer "born," they're decanted and programmed with hypnopaedia (sort of like hyponosis...but starting as an embryo) into 5 castes of society, Alphas, Betas, Gammas, Deltas and Epsilons.  It's really intense and has tons of roles (again, sorry alumni, only current students, unless we don't have enough auditionees) of all sizes for both men and women (over 40 all together).  Head to your local library and check out the book version (originally written in 1932) for a little lite summer reading.
Auditions will be September 8th and 9th from 3:00-5:00 in the auditorium.  Shows will be November 21 and 22 at 7:00pm and November 23 at 2:00pm.  Is that enough warning to get some alumni to come see their former teacher who affected their lives in such a lasting way as to give meaning to the word synergy, dread to the foods toast and bacon, and lifetime significance to the number 1903?  :)  Come back and visit.  I'd/We'd love to see you!
Always,
~Mrs Blazi
PS--Melinda or Jonathan, please post this on the Troupe's myspace.  Thanks!
